I was raised in a family of 4 on welfare for most of my youth. I recognize that you don't always have control over your financial situation and that reaching out for help is sometimes a necessity. There is absolutely nothing wrong with utilizing food stamps or other government programs when the need is there- those programs were put in place to help you can get back on your feet again.
It has been many years now that I graduated from college and received my PhD. I would not have been able to do this without the government help I received along the way. And I completely understand the need for reliable ways to communicate with prospective employers, family members, and child carers.
For several years, I worked for the largest cell phone provider (also a Fortune 5 company) as a National Retail Account Manager. I also conducted training sessions for all our associates on emerging technology. Now I work from home as a consultant so I can be with my 2 young kids.
Together with all my experiences and knowledge, I really do feel I can offer some insight into the sometimes confusing world of cell phone plans and government programs. That is why I created this website.
